Allows to temporarily control the targeted enemy unit. Channeled ability, lasts for 15 seconds, unless the Infestor or its target is killed, the neural parasite is aborted or the target departs more than 12 distance from the Infestor. The parasitized unit will not be attacked automatically by enemy units.

The controlling Infestor cannot move or use any of its abilities while it is channeling the neural parasite. But it will obey move- and ability-orders given during the channeling after the channeling is over. You cannot load any parasitized units into a transport (e.g., into an Overlord).

The parasitized unit will retain all upgrades/abilities that it had. Workers can be controlled and can build buildings, but the tech tree must be built from scratch if you are not playing as that worker's race. Ultralisks cannot be parasitized. You can abort Tac Nuke Strikes of parasited Ghosts but you cannot cast them.
