We’d like to let all of our StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty beta test participants know that the first phase of the beta test will be coming to an end in all regions on Monday, May 31. The beta test will be unavailable for several weeks while we make some hardware and software configuration changes in preparation for the final phase of the beta test and the release of the game. We plan to bring the beta test back online for a couple of weeks prior to the game’s launch to complete our testing. We’ll have more details to share about when this final beta-testing phase will begin at a later date.
We’d like to thank all of our beta-test participants for your enthusiasm, dedication, and valuable feedback during the beta test, and we look forward to hearing more of your thoughts on the StarCraft II beta test as the game’s July 27 launch approaches. |

Wonder if we will be able to at least watch replays during beta downtime. I know it was possible to watch replays offline during first release, but for some reason this feature was blocked. Would love to see it added before shutting down the beta.
You will still be able to watch replays while Battle.net is offline, you can also continue to work on your maps. Also, everyone who currently has access to beta should still have access when we bring the service up again. |

Will we be able to play offline custom games or against the a.i. for as long the battle net will be offline?
No, this won't be possible, as you need to be logged in to Battle.net to create any type of game. |

Did we ever get a Blue response to what was happening with the Beta Achievements? If they are staying when the game is released, I'll have about 2 weeks to win 400 games? I did an answer to this so I know whether I need to take a week off work or not, :D.
No, beta achievements will not be carried over to the live game. There might be an achievement, that you participated in beta but this is not decided yet. :) |

BTW, is it against the EULA to use a loader and play offline vs AI? As I understand it, I'm not allowed to make or connect to some kind off homebrew "battle.net" but I'm not sure if a loader for AI games is ok?
Modifying the game to circumvent Battle.net is cleary against the End User License Agreement. This is not allowed. |

Wont we be able to test custom maps we have created with the editor? If this is true, then I dont really know what to do. Have been constantly modding warcraft III for about 2 years, and have worked on projects such as Diablo III Warcraft, and now have a StarCraft II Modding Community running with my friends.
Please tell me that we still will be able to play custom maps in the editor.
I believe right now you can use "Test Document" without logging into Battle.net (or without you being connected to the Internet), if that is the case, then this should not change when we take down the service. |

No, definitely not. The release date is global. It will be released on the 27th of July in the UK and throughout Europe. |
