A lot of new blue posts have gone up recently. First off, congratulations to the Vespene Laughs winners for May: Jebediah C Cozby, Jeremy Canton, and Jacob Cockcroft. Here are their winning entries: (first place is the large one above, here are all three)
Remember that first place wins two SC2 beta keys. See
this page if you want to enter.
Next,
Thors are transportable but take up all 8 slots in the
Medivac.
Here are Karune's replies with more opinions on the Medivac replacing the
Medic.
Next up, Karune
tells us that the
HSM's target is highlighted and so can be easily retreated, and that the
Nullifier has been renamed the Disruptor.
Karune also
gave us the new info that the
Baneling can be detonated with a hotkey, even when
burrowed, so you "can have Baneling MINES now

". Also, when units are over
Supply Depots when they are Raised, they will simply be pushed aside.
And last but not least, Q&A 51 will be released tomorrow morning, and as a teaser Karune has posted a link to some sample
death animations including a new
Lurker model. It is notable that there are now different models for certain units when they are very damaged, such as the
Carrier. Also, there are different death animations depending on what killed the unit, for example some
Hydralisks burning to death are shown.

i would have to agree with you when you see that carrier go down it looks and feels like a massive ship dropping and then exploding

i expect when a building land also pushed aside our units and perhaps when a worker must build a structure also...

Over all it is awesome and I cannot wait to see all the units new death animations. Hopefully they do not get in the way of competitive gameplay.
O yeah, my favorite laugh was the one with protoss and zerg playing chess lol.
