Normally I wouldn't just say, "kay, here's the news. read it." However, i'm honestly in too much shock and awe to write an inspiring, well put together newspost.. So here, o_o.

We've just brought our brand-new Battle.net forums online. The new forums bring a host of new features and stability, as well as helpful tools for us to better moderate and organize posts. They're available right now -- to access them, visit: http://forums.battle.net.

The forum login requirements remain the same. In order to post you will need an account created by a Battle.net supported game and a CD-key.

These forums will no longer be open for posting, but if you'd like to copy a thread or back up some information, they'll remain available until Monday, October 13.

The benefits of implementing these new forums are numerous, and we hope you're as excited as we are to see this step toward the continued growth and support of our Battle.net community.

As for our BnetTracker, just be patient, it's currently being worked on. A definitive timeline is before Christmas. However, do not be alarmed, it won't take anywhere near 2 months, heh. It all depends on how soon we release/announce everything that is being worked on behind-the-scenes at sc2pod,

I like the new appearance of the new Forums, really clean and simple. Not that the other one wasn't clean but it somehow feels a lot more.. ..clean, and modern!

And I also love the polls,

Agreed! The new forums are great! Awesome security, it'll stop spammers for a bit. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

I still don't get one thing though;
Diablo 3 forum requires D2 cd-key.
War3 forum requires War3 cd-key.

So why doesn't Starcraft 2 require a Starcraft cd-key?

Simple. Who would be able to legitimately talk about D3's development? Only Diablo 2 players. Who would be able to legitimately talk about SC2's development? StarCraft and WC3 players. Denying just one cd-key type would just be worthless.

I don't really like the whole CD key idea... I mean I have CD keys and stuff but for example someone who doesn't but is a big fan of the games won't be able to post him uber new spell-of-doom idea
