I think the ETC songs are the only Rock music I wouldn't mind listening to.

Aside from them, I listen to Rap & Hip-Hop.. So yeah, that's gotta be saying something, =p.

I'm really looking forward to the SC matches. Kind of disappointed of the warcraft ones.. Grubby and Moon are not on the list and those 2 are my favs.

I kind of find L80ETC kind of funny, interesting lyrics with okay music.
But then again it has a long way to go to match up with death metal.

As a finn your standards on death metal is probably pretty high though

Well, maybe my post was too cynical, but still, what's the point of that devs rock band? People listen to them just because they are Blizzard fans, and even if the composition and vocal would be the suckiest in the world, they would still enjoy listening to song about Murloc I listened to these songs and saw the vids - ETC is an amateur band, but they pretend to be like true hard-rock music sharks, which is funny, sorta

Eh the point? A lot of people play in small amateur bands, what's the point of that? Most musical endeavors are about having fun, not about selling platinum or being the best. The ETC guys have been playing together for a long time, for fun. Lately they have discovered that other people have fun watching them live as well, isn't that enough of a point?

They obviously try to act professional on stage because that makes it funnier, no one (including themselves) expects them to be as good as other bands out there.

Well, as shadowie said, it's just for fun. They aren't anything big, and the main reason people listen to them is because they're fans of Blizzard. It's just something they can do for fun, that will give us a little laugh..

Agreed. There was little information there last time, however there was a whole panel about it.. Perhaps more information this time.

I'm hoping they will do a full-length in house animated movie, Imagine a Blizzard trailer 2 hours long

Also, everyone already know the characters as animated. They would have to be really really good at casting a live action movie or they risk hurting the franchise. On the other hand a LOTR-style movie with Peter Jackson directing would be awesome

That would definitely be made of win. I think i'd be drooling if I saw that, =X.

But hmph, it'll be a live action movie, meaning real actors.

I know a guy who could play Arthas - anybody seen "13th Warrior" wtih A. Banderas coming from Arabia and slaughtering tribal Scandinavian nations who were attacking fairly civilized inhabitants? So there was a prince Buliwyf(on Bandera's side):



His name is Vladimir Kulich(he's from former Czechoslovakia) and made fairly good for a foreigner career in hollywood, mostly 3rd and 2nd plan roles in TV series and movies. The problem is that he's sorta old now though, so I don't think he could play non-corrupted young Arthas, but would fit perfectly as Lich King in the movie By the way, there are rumors that Blizzard were inspired by that Buliwyf from 13th warrior when created Arthas image, something like Zerg from Starship Troopers or Protoss from Predator etc.
