it's true,
ghosts themselves are imba. You can get two, research
cloak and go wreak havoc among the
probes (few
toss players get
detection early on). With two - three shots any probe is dead, and by the time the
energy's gone, the enemy economy is gone as well.
as for
EMP, it is a bit cheap to make, and it's frustrating to fight against. But you're not supposed to let the
terran player live the easy life. Harass, build defense and detection to avoid early rushes, and get map control. The problem is as old as SC1 - you had to keep him contained, and get a big army first.
It's annoying because there isn't a really easy counter to the EMP. But you could trick them into using it on
hallucinations, or on a few sacrificial
zealots (then
blink in with the rest of the army).
No one said defeating them should be easy
